Broadcast a profile
Create a Personal or Professional profile and choose exactly which details you want visible — everything's hidden by default until you turn it on, and only during hours you set.
Find something real in common
When someone nearby shares something rare in common with you — the same hometown far from home, the same college, a shared niche interest — Periyo notifies you both. No generic categories, no guessing.
Message, then find each other
Message right in the app once you connect — no numbers to exchange. When you're ready, tap Locate for a live compass pointing you toward them. Off by default, and only ever between two people who've actually connected.
Find businesses that need you — or you need them
Flag a service you're currently looking for, and if a nearby business owner broadcasts that they offer it, you'll get a private notification. Businesses never learn who was connected to them until you choose to reach out.
Hear what's playing around you
Connect your Spotify account and let people nearby see what you're currently listening to — no match required. It's a live, ambient way to notice who's around you.
If you already have something else in common with someone on the list, you'll see a Match badge right on their track — so you know when a shared playlist is actually a shared connection.
Built with privacy first
